As stated before disable individuals are categorized as a minority group; is a “dynamic interaction between strong and weak social groups”, focusing on individual’s color of their skin, diversity, and religion (Pasotti, 2010). Theories are essential in promoting, researching, and how practical they can be for instance in the health care field the use of positivism theory with social model of disabilities remains to be the favorite contender when providing service to the disabled. This theory focuses how to come up with a cure if any, reducing impairment, or can assist with a clinical intervention by using controlled trails, random statistical samples, and structured questionnaires (Oliver, 1998, ). Social model of disability is promoting equality and it is everyone’s responsibility to fairly and equally treat everyone, especially those who are in the health and social care practice this focuses on structures and barriers of the individual experiences and to take notice the importance of interacting with people who have disabilities (Hugh, 2011). These policies ensure all citizens, especially the impaired are not to be discriminated and it will not be tolerated in any aspect and no one can or will denied anyone’s equal rights. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission was created in 1964 under the title VII of the Civil Rights Act of that year (Twomey, 2012). This law prohibits any form of discrimination to any employee by investigating complaints that have been filed.
