“ The warnings on global warming have been extremely clear for a long time. We are facing a global climate crisis. We are entering a period of consequences.” (Al Gore). Global warming is dangerous and changing our world, as the quote stated above and we’ve haven’t done much to decrease it. Global warming is a serious topic because we realize (and have known this for a while) that it has made a very big modification to our world today. How you may ask? We have been polluting our earth and it’s atmosphere, it has been making drastic changes. We’ve also have been trying to figure out its causes, its effects on us and living things around us. To put it in blunt words, pollution has been altering our world. But at a positive side …show more content…
We’ve been putting things in the air that may not be the best for it. Air pollution is a dangerous thing as it has been making our atmosphere thicker. When our atmosphere gets thicker, sun rays get stuck inside the atmosphere making the overall temperature hotter than it should be. When pollution happens, it makes a difference in our water acidity . The water gets acidic because of fossil fuel combustion and industrial processes. All of those pollutants get absorbed by oceans, lakes and rivers all across the world. Due to those pollutants in the atmosphere, the air also gets warmer causing ocean levels start to rise. It doesn’t only affect our water, but also our air. Due to our use of fossil fuels, the pollution that has been happening has caused our air to be composed of mostly Carbon dioxide. Too much CO2 can be dangerous for humans and animals to intake. When our air becomes more contaminated, it makes it harder for us to live here on …show more content…
When climate change occurs, it can lead us into an increase of temperature. Meanwhile, when the temperature increases, it can have some effects on our weather that can lead us to flooding (which is usually caused by global warming), or even drought. As an illustration, when icebergs melts, it usually makes the water rise which can flood small towns or even cities. In addition, did you know that 300,000 animals die each year due to the pollution in the air. Initially, human activity can play a key role in the death of animals because when us humans put nasty things into the air, it doesn’t only affect us, it also affects animals around us. Usually, another cause of wildlife extinction can be due to many huge weather disasters or heat waves . Initially, when gases get put into the air, it can cause weather patterns such as hurricanes, floods and more. Most weather issues can affect many societies because of their severity. Even though climate change is becoming a cause of weather patterns and wildlife deaths, it still doesn’t mean that we can’t make a difference in our

Climate Change is severely affecting animals that rely on land and specific food sources. This is true because once an animals land is destroyed it removes their food source as well. For example the Giant Panda's diet revolves around bamboo. Now that climate change is ruining bamboo forests the panda is left with little to no food. This forces them to migrate from their low elevation habitats, to higher elevations like mountains.…

To begin, animal population is very important to us humans meanwhile lots of animals and plants are undergoing extinction due to the cause of climate change. These events are most likely occurring because of inaccurate behavior of humans, causing temperatures to rise and lots of greenhouse emission to be released quicker than nature can put it out in a natural occurrence. This process is known as global warming ,making it less efficient for humans and animals to live safely in their environment and habitats. This life threatening event is causing animals to go extinct, humans to have worse weather conditions such as stronger hurricanes and severe heat waves. 2000 species of animals and plants discovered to be making movements towards the poles at an average rate of 3.8 miles per decade.…

Scientists have said that human activities are the leading cause of climate change and it should change that because if nothing changes now, it will continue to alter the environment that we depend on for survival. According to NASA, “human activities over the past 50 years have warmed our planet”. (NASA) Humans are a major cause in producing climate change by cutting down forests, burning of fossil fuels and driving.…

Around the world, we need to tackle the issues of climate change and alter the way we consume and dispose of resources. The pollution we create from factories and vehicles goes up into our atmosphere and creates a barrier of greenhouse gas. When the sun 's rays come to earth and then radiate back out to space, they can’t go back because of the one way, very thick greenhouse gas barrier. The 20 warmest years ever have happened since 1981 and with 10 of the warmest happening within the past 12 years and this is continuing to get worse as the years go on.…

But no matter what form life takes, it always has one characteristic that never changes, and that is it’s always important and is always discussed in the highest regards. In two articles from the Coyote Reader, “To Really Save the planet, Stop Going Green by Mike Tidwell”, and “Topic of Cancer” by Christopher Hitchens, the idea that life is important is exemplified and explained through two very different scenarios. By looking at these two articles, one talking about saving the environment and the effects that will happen if it is not saved, and one talking about a man trying to save his life from the devastating effects of…

These emissions consist of carbon dioxide that ultimately retain more heat in our atmosphere than needed, thus elevating the temperature everywhere around the globe and damaging ecosystems greatly. Many people, including politicians and scientists, believe that climate change is simply a hoax. Although some prefer to believe that climate change is fake and we have nothing to worry about, there are concrete facts that prove these individuals wrong.…
