Positive People In To Kill A Mockingbird By Harper Lee

Improved Essays
Those who surround us are often said to influence who we are. According to well known motivational speaker Jim Rohn, we are the average of the five people whom we spend the most time with. For instance, if you spend most of your time with five extremely positive people, then you will turn out to be an extremely positive person. However, it is my belief that humans are influenced by more than the people they spend the most time with. While that is a large and significant factor, it is not the sole factor that makes up who you are. A person’s character developed equally by the events they experience, the challenges they face, the people they meet, and the lessons they learn, as Harper Lee’s “To kill a Mockingbird” represents incredibly well.
