The crusades were a bloody war between two religions the christians and the muslims in this case it was the christians that were attacking the Muslims. The first couple of crusades were of a religious war but after that it was just a way for people to get a license to kill. So were the crusades positive or negative. I think that the crusades were more negative than positive and the reasons are clear why they are They widened the gap between Muslims and christians along with even more hatred toward each other and the problem it started was that it made it a forever lasting waar between the two religions.
