“Love each other or perish” (149) This lesson was told by Morrie after he was diagnosed with ALS, a disease that would end his life before his eyes. When Morrie was diagnosed with ALS he began to look at life from a different perspective, in a very positive way matter of fact. The life lesson “Love each other or perish” (149) was a lesson Morrie taught to Mitch, a student of Morrie’s in College, he was Mitch's college professor. Morrie also taught this lesson to many people around the world and many other lessons on top of that and it indeed impacted many people's lives. This lesson he taught was important because without love, you will perish, love is a powerful thing, everything surrounds love, the clothes you wear was designed by a person …show more content…
That is an explanatory way of saying what Morrie teaches, But Morrie actually says “What if today was my last day on earth?” (64). Morrie states this after he saids “This is a question a person should ask everyday” (64). This is clearly important because if you waste the perfect time and day for no reason, you would regret it if you were in Morries situation, to have spent those times when you're young and when your life span is running out and to have spent it freely and wisely. A second lesson that's important that Morrie states is “learn to forgive yourself and to forgive others” (18). Morrie stating this is important because once you truly forgive yourself, you will have the ability to truly forgive others, a second reason why Morrie statement is important because when you forgive others, it makes you a stronger person in the inside, it releases those grudges and possibly hate in your heart, also forgive yourself because you're worth more than a mistake you have made. Through all the things Mitch been through with Morrie, the time he spend with Morrie and also the lessons Morrie teaches Mitch strengthens Mitch's relationship with Morrie, it also strengthens Mitch's relationships with people. Morrie relationship with Mitch will continue, even when Morrie dies, like Morrie stated “Death ends a life, not a relationship”

Multiple times, I’ve read the book Life Lessons from Andy Wink by Steve Paulding. In fact, I’ve even performed in a play based on the book. When looked at from a Christian point of view, the singer Tobymac puts it quite well in his song “Undeniable”: “You’re the bright and morning star, But still you speak to my heart, Undeniable, you are, you are….” This truly explains what the book is about.…

I’ve taken the first few days of the new year to reflect on the past 365 days- examine deeply the person I’ve become, and the distance between her and the woman I strive to be. Every single day we are taught lessons - lessons about life, love, happiness, sorrow and everything in between. When you multiply each day’s lessons by 365, a single year, can truly represent growth and transformation. As I reflect on 2016, I am in complete awe at what a difference a year can make. I have learned that you cannot change people.…

The most valued lesson I got from this was to appreciate every moment and the memories you get to make with your family. These are the only things that will be kept after they are gone forever. Also I believe that if you don’t value this kind of small stuff that in reality means a lot then you are not really living life to the fullest. Appreciation towards my family will be something I show to them from now until GOD decides that it’s time to leave this earth. I believe that GOD has a plan for everyone in this life and once we accomplish that plan he wants us back with him.…
