Positive Impacts Of Economic Development

A developing country is a nation with a low standard of living, a low Human Development Index (HDI) and undeveloped industrial base relative to other countries. The factors of defining a developed country involves people have short and unhealthy life, people have less education and less income. It is commonly assumed that economic development plays an important role and has a significant positive effect in developing countries. The economic development of developing countries is most important route out of poverty, however there are other people believe that protecting the environment should be toward sustainable development for developing countries. This assignment will firstly state the historical background information on the largest developing countries that is China by looking at the period from the 1980s until 2012. Firstly, globalization has helped developing countries people to increase income. World Bank economists Dollar and Kraay (2002) found that is per capita income of globalizing countries in developing courtiers grew three and a half time faster than in “non-globalizing” countries. Therefore, Globalization has helped to reduce poverty.
