I believe the two most challenging issues facing health care today are the amount of people going to college for a health care career and malpractice. Based on a report from the Association of American Medical Colleges, the United States will have an expected shortage of as many as 90,000 physicians by 2025. The main reason is that there are thousands of students who have the work ethic, responsibility, and intelligence to graduate with a health care degree in some area but whose parents cannot afford to pay for their education. In Addition, the salary for some health care careers are very low. As the future of our country, we should become more aware of the community wellness programs in our area. There are many people who suffer from chronic eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating. Not to mention, only about 35% of the people affected by these disorders receive treatment. Moreover, social media plays a major role towards promoting unhealthy diets. Thousands of kids, teens, and adults look up to athletes, celebrities, and artists in their social media and want to be just like them. We, the youth, should advertise the importance about being yourself and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In Addition, we should also implement the importance of keeping a healthy diet and exercising at least sixty minutes a day due to the increase of obesity and health issues occurring not only to kids but adults as well. There are many teens today who have triglycerides or that have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. About 208,000 people under the age of 20 have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes according to the National Diabetes Education Program. Therefore, we should work together to see how we can help make the community wellness programs have a better outcome towards our health and the future’s health. If we look at the flaws in our community
