Introduction
Video games have become one of the most common forms of entertainment over the recent past. This has been enabled by the advancement in technology and increased use of computer as well as digital technology(McLean& Griffiths, 2013). There are many video games created and distributed all over the world through the internet or media that enables many people to play them over computers and other enabled gadgets such as mobile phones. People of different ages, including children, adolescents and adults ofboth genders are involved in video gaming. This is mainly due to the violent content that would be practiced by those exposed to participants in video gaming (Anderson, Gentile & Buckley, 2006). Most video games contain violent material and researches have estimated that about 89 percent of the video games in the market have violent elements (McLean and Griffiths, 2013).
