There are many positive effects of anabolic steroid use such as an increase in muscle mass, with this athletes can go above and beyond what they ever expected. Using steroids with the proper instruction from a physician is not dangerous and there are many doctors who use anabolic steroids to help clients outside of the professional sports industry. However, the long term abuse of steroids can lead to many of the health dilemmas people associate with the use of steroids.
