The continent of Africa is the world 's second largest continent after Asia, with a total surface area, including several surrounding islands of 30,313,000 square kilometres. As people known that Africa is one of the poorest country in the world. Especially in the South, 54% of people are living below the poverty line which is the measuring to separate who are poor or not poor. Only 46% of people are living above the poverty line. According to the State SA figures, there are actually three poverty lines which are 27 million people can barely manage their nutritions, 18.6 million people probably have to sacrifice some of their nutritions and 10.7 million people are needed to afford their daily nutritions. Poverty and corruption combine to force people to make impossible like “Do I buy food for my family today or do I pay a bribe to get treated at the clinic?” (Rotberg). This quote means that when poor people have lower education, they do not really understand what will happen next after when they did something good or bad. So the government should prevent those kind of crimes and give education to the poor people. “To escape the vicious cycle corruption creates for disadvantaged groups, people need to able to speak up for their rights and demand accountability from their leaders, ensuring access to basic social services and resources”.(Poverty and Corruption in Africa). According to this quote, non- government programs conduct this program like escaping this corruption of the people speaking up their opinions and trying to know how to solve or do for them. In recent year, Africans have suffered higher rates of violent crime than people from other regions. Especially, Southern, Western and Central African countries rank among the countries with the highest rates of murder per capita. There are several solutions to combat for the South Africa’s poverty. The International Government can build up education, such as recovering the schools, supplies for children and give food, medicine for poor people in South Africa. Moreover, it can rebuild the laws for human right. Prioritizing program that sets up these basic stuff like housing, water, electricity and health care. It should give more opportunities to poor people such as giving the jobs that also makes reducing the corruption. Moreover, the International Government should give more education to all adults, not only children because some adults might not get education when they were young. In addition, we can banned the inequality such as treating everyone equally and stopping the labor abuse. Not only the International Government need to solve for this huge problem like poverty in South Africa. We can also help them to escape from their poverty by organizing the non government communities, asking for donations from every country and volunteering with the children or old people. These kinds of solution will help to poor countries in South Africa to reduce the poverty. Don’t you think the International Government and we should help to South Africa for sake of the
