Many social media sites now make it easy for people to develop an online relationship with someone that they have never met before. Online relationships most of the time are never positive idea because the people they meet might not be who they say they are, they can lack seriousness, or they might not like them as much in person as they did online. The benefit about online relationships is that the dating sites people sign up can be best fit for the type of person that they are more likely to be attracted to.
Being able to meet the possible love of someone’s life online makes them more accessible to getting hurt. Many people make fake profiles just to start a relationship with someone to make them feel better about themselves. It is so easy

Having many different websites that people can choose from like Match or Christian Mingle, the positive outcome is that someone can choose which dating site they want to sign up for that best fits them and it will have many people who have the same interest. Not many people like to date outside of their comfort zone because they are scared of getting hurt or they think that they would not have anything in common with someone who is the complete opposite of them, which scares people …show more content…
Most of the time having an online relationship hardly ever turns out to be a positive experience, but some people get lucky and actually meet someone who is honest with who they really are or they meet someone who is completely insane and lie to them about everything they have been talking
