Switzerland is a country situated in Western Europe. It is a neutral country that doesn’t get involved in any war conflicts around the globe in this period of time. The capital of Switzerland is Bern. The Swiss land mass isn’t very large its quite a small country and also it has an 8million people population. It is a mountainous country and is surrounded by 4 other country’s that are France, Italy, Germany and Austria. Switzerland is divided in 26 different areas that are called cantons. In Switzerland 4 languages are spoken, these are French, Italian, German and Romanche. Over the years the Swiss population has gradually been increasing even though there were a few crises caused by diseases and economic recessions.

Another positive aspect of immigration is that all the customs and traditions the immigrants come from the Swiss will be able to learn and therefor become more educated on a global perspective. With the improvements of technology and new innovations, transportation has become very easy and affordable for nearly everybody in the world and by one way or another the immigrants are able to attend their required destination in very little time. Another way transportation for the immigrants have become so easy is thanks to the improvements in communications with other countries. This makes it easier to pass boarder control. For example in Europe the communication between a few countries are quite important like France and Switzerland, this makes it possible to travel from France to Switzerland by car without even being checked for your documents at the boarder.
There are two different types of immigration, one, which is short term immigration, and the other, which is long term immigration. Short term immigration doesn’t cause too much drastic effect on the community because the immigrants will not be able to show teach a lot of people their customs and traditions.
