It has been proven that sex has positive effects on the mind and heart. When a person wants to have sex but feels like they cannot, eventually they can suffer through psychological problems. A person might feel restricted from having sex if they feel they are too shy, or held back by religious and family values. A study revealed that people in their mid twenties and thirties were more likely to develop anxiety and depression problems if they felt like they could not have sex. Abstinence can also provide problems in the long run. A woman who avoids sex for a long time can experience physical trauma to her body and vaginal health. As stated previously, some people argue that teaching teens condom use can confuse teens and cause them to believe sex is exceptional.
