The name of the instrument is called Pre-Set which assist program to “pinpoint which positive behavior interventions are effective” (B.P., 2006, p.1). The reason why I decided to use this assessment tool is because it better support critical social-emotional skills and determine professional development needs. As early childhood educators we understand that social-emotional is an important part of children’s development. Therefore it is imperative that we provide them a high-quality environment that supports children’s development.
