There are many negative things that effected the African American race and community. There are a few specific things I find the most effective. Things such as racism, violence, and incarceration I find most harmful. It is many ways to overcome these issue.
Racism caused African Americans to not have equal rights and to be judged differently. It also made blacks feel less of a person or feel that they are beneath the white race. In order for racism to stop we must first understand we are all equal and everyone must be treated the same. The violence won't stop until we first learn how to love one another. We can also add more policeman and security in black neighborhoods to secure the people. Last but not least incarceration is a major downfall
