Media is a versatile tool used for education, news, and enjoyment. The types of enjoyment sought can vary from positive and pleasant reactions or negative effects. Video game usage is a controversial topic because while it provides entertainment, it also affects cognitive thinking, influences, and overall behavior. Those virtual players ultimately build online social communities where they also learn team building skills such as decision making, leading, and building trust. As previously mentioned, video games affects brain activity with potential of improving the areas of memory formation, strategic planning, and motor skills.
