As Homer’s Odysseus continues along his hero's journey in The Odyssey, he goes on the hunt for Ithaca passing into the belly of the beast, engaging on the dark road of trials testing the hero’s strength, wit, and courage, challenging their faith and will to persevere in such times of despair.
