The credibility is shown by who is sponsoring the ad, the Road Safety Association, but that is as far as that appeal goes. The logos can be interpreted by the message in the top left corner, “Stop Killing While Driving”, it is a fact that people die from negligent drivers that focus more on phones rather than the road ahead of them. Lastly, the appeal to pathos is shown throughout. From the various stylistic choices that were arranged, and the red color of the word “Kill” overriding the rest of the usual phrase, to the detailed facial expression on all of the characters in the visual witnessing an accident that is about to occur.
