In many areas, a pub is the central establishment of the community. In the video “Portland’s Non-Profit” edited by CBS News, reporter Luke Burbank recognizes an up and coming pub in Oregon with different tactics. Burbank interviews different customers with similar opinions on the pub. A non-profit organization is one that is dedicated to a particular cause, true, but I do not believe that any organization as such is solely non-profit for many reasons. For one many people think of the word profit in terms of just money which it is not. The founders can be profiting emotionally, publicly and business wise.
