Sri Lanka is naturally endowed various type of tourist attractions include eight World Heritage sites, sandy beaches, culture and history, national parks, wildlife, rain forests and archaeological sites. Currently the average length of stay for a tourist is up to 9.9 nights. Tourism becomes one of the largest and rapid growth service sectors after the civil war end on mid of 2009 in Sri Lanka. In this kind of situations, tourism industry in Sri Lanka facing the challenges of not enough skill labour in hospitality and tourism industry. Meanwhile, some local institute such as Sri Lanka Tourism and Hotel Management, Universities like Sabaragamuwa and Uva-Wellassa and private colleges bring out more than 4,000 train personnel but it still not enough to fulfil the rapid growth and expansion of the hotel industry. Besides, quality of those train graduate is not adequate especially the proficiency in English and other important language like Mandarin is not receive enough attention in the training program.
