The purpose and need of the new development at the Port of Beaumont (Port) Orange County North Property is to meet the demand of new and existing business by continuing to expand facilities to accommodate additional capacity. The new truck unloading area and tank storage will be used to offload petroleum products from trucks, transferred by pipeline to the Port’s existing facilities, and eventually shipped out by barge to various facilities along the Sabine-Neches corridor and throughout the Gulf Coast.
