Pornographic film regulations in California
California is a leading producer of pornographic films, with most production occurring in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) requires condom use during sex in pornographic films. However, Cal/OSHA generally enforces this requirement in response to complaints.[2] In November 2012, Los Angeles approved Measure B, which required pornography actors to wear condoms on set.

Initiative design
Proposition 60 would require adult film producers to provide condoms and ensure that performers use them during performances in which "performers actually engage in vaginal or anal penetration by a penis." While condoms would not need to be visible

On the year of 2012 many propositions were proposed, and us as citizens got to choose whether it should, or whether it should not become a law. One proposition that was on the ballot in 2012 was proposition 35- Human Trafficking Penalties Initiative Statute. Human trafficking is well defined as labor trafficking, and sex trafficking where the victim has no say in this, and is exploited. Women, and children unfortunately fall into the hands of these people because these people will offer them “good paying jobs” opportunities that well make their life better.…

When Daniel Elazar published his work on state political culture Nevada was an Individualistic state, and still is today. A state that is considered Individualistic has the following characteristics: government is viewed as an extension of the marketplace, government provides people with services they want, but do not interfere with the people’s private lives, politics are ran like a business, and the politicians are well-paid business men and women (Smith and Greenblatt 14). Nevada is an Individualistic state because officeholders run the government with marketplace tactics, achieving goals allows corruption to occur in many facets of the state, and its politics are left up to the professionals. A business-like culture is essential to be…

According to the dictionary, a slave is “a person who is the legal property of another and is forced to obey them”. It is a word that has a very negative connotation and is typically associated with a dark period in America’s history when white people abused African Americans by making them slaves. A slave-like individual is someone who is entirely subservient to a dominating influence. Their voice is not heard and they do not have control over most parts of their lives. Understanding what it means to be a slave, one would never expect someone to flaunt being a slave to another person, unless they had heard the song, “I’m a Slave 4 U” by Britney Spears.…

Historically, censorship policies have impacted the production of war imagery in films during explicit conflict, especially in the United States. It dictated the amount of films produced, how they were produced, and where the films were distributed. Not only did it affect film, but it also affected photography and information the press released to the public. These censorship policies in the United States, furthermore, affected the film industry during both the Second World War and the Vietnam War; however, their impact produced drastically different results. In one, censorship policies produced a polished war narrative in film—one which reflected an exaggerated version of the heroism of the American soldier and reassured the public that war…

Having condoms distributed throughout high schools would be a terrible idea. By giving children the opportunity to get condoms in high school it is going against many religions. Just because high school students have condoms available, doesn’t mean that they will actually use them for the intended purpose of a condom. Distributing condoms in public high schools would cause the school budgets to be squeezed; the taxpayers would have to pay more so their children can have safe sex. One argument about the distribution of condoms in high school is how they are funded.…
