The Porcupine Puffer Fish is also known as the Balloon Fish, Blow Fish and the Globe Fish. This fish is slow in its movement and it can be found in its thousands in their natural habitat. The Porcupine Puffer Fish has very few predators. This is because it has 3 major defenses that help to keep it safe. They are: the ability to secrete dangerous toxin that make it difficult to eat it. Also, the Porcupine Puffer fish has spikes that can strike any predator. Finally, it can blow itself up to almost twice its size which makes it difficult for a predator to swallow.
Despite the facts that have being mentioned in the previous paragraph; Killer Whales and Sharks still feed on the Porcupine Puffer fish. It has been reported that the fish has a way to cause harm to these predators.
