Italy’s birth rate in the 1960’s, was 2.37 percent and it has dropped dramatically since then and in 2010 the crude birth rate was 1.40 percent. The reason for this is because there has been many “divorces and abortion”(lifesite.com). In 2014 fewer babies were born in Italy and the percentage was 8.74 percent of the population.
