Slime was first created in 1976 by mattel ( A toy company) it was sold in little green trash cans. It was not stretchy or soft it didn't settle, or react to touch. The original slime was not made with pva or borate it was made with guar gum and didn't have an appealing texture. Slime is now sold across the world in shops online the main seller is Etsy but other slime sellers branch out and create their own websites. Like for example GlitterSlimes (Nicolette) started on Etsy and made her own website to sell slime on.
