Popular Pet Peeves

Did you know that one of the most popular pet peeve is people who constantly talk and won’t be quiet? That can get pretty annoying. There are millions of pet peeves. What are some of yours? Many people consider me a geek or nerd with fantasy so I know almost everything but other people don’t know everything there is to know. The worst thing is when I am trying to talk about how this person just did this in a movie or book and they just nod but don’t understand one little thing. I love Harry Potter, Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children, Adventure Time, Tim Burton and really any fantasy. I might be sad because someone just died but my friend hasn’t read or watched it so I can’t tell them. Only some of my friends have read Harry Potter …show more content…
I ask my brother to help me bring something down stairs and he walks down the stairs without helping me. Like really?! You just ignored me when I asked you to do it right in yo face. So I have to do it all by myself. Like one time I asked my brother to help my mom, stepdad and I to help with bringing down the Christmas ornaments but he stayed on the couch watching TV. I need so much help carrying heavy things because I don’t have that much muscles so I ask my dad or stepdad to do it and they forget. I need as much help as I can so can I please ask for help! Sometimes people are turtles. Slow as ever. I like to run from place to place because I get there faster and it’s better for your health but when people that walk slow in front of me is literally the devil. I try to squeeze past them but then they decide to clog up the area so I become a snail and slow down the super slow sidewalk and street. I seriously don’t know why slow walking people are always in front of fast walking people. People need to start running more. I wish I could just fly over them and land right in front of them and go on with my walking. Running is what I do best and you know

That now you have to adjust your speed and not look so "menacing" even though your not trying to do anything wrong. Just like staples, that women could 've thought I was a mugger or something. It 's a terrible and embarrassing feeling because her "speed walking" and scared look made me feel like I committed a crime when I didn 't. I 'm thinking to myself why was she walking fast and why did she have a concerned look on her Face? Well for one, it was a very cold night. I 'm walking fast with my hands in my pocket." I could understand why she would be scared. I 've told my friend the story and she said "don 't worry about it, I know you wouldn 't her or anybody" even I would do what she did no matter who you are, she…

    Walking In The Late 1800s

Driving being so popular and natural has caused there to be rules for pedestrians. The article says, “For the crime of walking three tired, hungry children home in the most efficient way possible, Nelson faced more jail time than the man who killed her son” (aeon). Nelson was charged with this crime just because she did not walk across the designated walkway on the road. Given Nelson’s situation, she most likely chose the safer way, rather then walking further down the street to cross the walkway at that time of the night. The crisis here is that with the way the world has evolved, it has forced walking, one of the most natural things to do in life, to be almost “abnormal”. In other words, if driving was not such a normal task in today’s world, then we would not have rules for walkers that would put our people in situations such as…

When I was younger, I always kept a book by me. Books accompanied me everywhere, to the mall and to my relatives houses. I was called a bookworm, and still called it today.I’ve read books, and collected them. I have over 100 books in my room, and have a library in my house. Sadly, I was bullied at school for reading books. People often thought I was shy and nerdy. People believed I was nerdy because I spent my time reading and had no friends. In addition, people thought I was shy because not many people approached me because I was “too concentrated on my novel’’. The picture of an open book is in my briefcase, because it reminds me that books don’t define a person. Just because I like reading, that doesn’t mean I don’t like talking to people.…

I am Italian, Irish, French, British, I also have a bit of Native American in me. Even though I am all these things, I have almost no idea how to speak Italian, or French I don 't know where my ancestors were located or really anything about my heritage besides how to cook Italian meals. The only place I have been is the United States and only 4 States Pennsylvania, New York, California, and Florida. I relate to the story of "The Frog in the Well" because I have no experience of my own culture or heritage, so how can I have any understanding of someone else 's? When discussing other customs, culture, heritage, and religion I try to stay as open minded as possible, because I have a narrow view from how I grew up. I know my experiences will differ…

We’ve probably all been that person hustling so quickly to get to class or work that we’re sweating under our jacket, letting the fury build up in our chest as the people in front of us move so slowly. Everyone has pet peeves. People have something that annoys them. It can be a person, a sound, a thing that makes you feel annoyed. I have several pet peeves that bother me. For example, I hate when people come late; people who send me a game request on Facebook, even I am not playing the game at all; people left the food in the sink after they are done with their washing dishes or not washing them at all. Of all these pet peeves, one made me most uncomfortable is when people leave leftover the food in the sink and do not clean the dishes.…
