How many people can say that they sang in front of the Pope? In September 2015, after two auditions and long hours of singing practice, I made it through this process to be one of the only 50 kids to sing for the Pope when he visited America for the first time since 1965. This wasn't my first time performing in a high stakes environment. I’ve also performed in the 6abc Thanksgiving Day Parade on live national television. In my choir, the Pennsylvania Girlchoir, I’ve had many opportunities to sing and perform in Verizon Hall or the Kimmel Center. These performances were for the Christmas season where we entertained with performances such as A Soulful Christmas, our Gala, and a new musical written by our very own Steve Fisher called Mother B.
