We had 3 errors, one of the errors was the price on mason jars, the way we fixed this was getting muffin trays and filled one muffin slot with pop and put the nails in. Another error was communication. We could not go to each other's houses, we fixed this by exchanging numbers. The last error is the data. We needed the nails to see who had less rust, we fixed this by bringing the nails to each other on the same day.
Our independent variable is the pop changing (Mountain Dew, Orange Fanta, Pepsi,Coke). A independent variable is what is being changed. Our dependent variable is the amount of rust not left on the nail. A dependent is what is being measured. The control is the muffin tray. A control is what IS NOT being changed.
I did this experiment because I wanted to know what pop does to your insides. If I did this again I would do this project by myself. This is because I felt I could of done better at my own pace! If you did this experiment what would your hypothesis
