Ellen Glasgow once said "All change is not growth, as all movement is not forward.", and although she was writing about the postbellum South, her message is still relevant in the modern world. Living in a progressive world such as ours certainly has its benefits, as evidenced by the massive development of technology and knowledge in just the past century.
