Pony: Comparing The Book And The Movie

Decent Essays
Ponyboy: Ponyboy is very much alike in the novel and the book. I personally think that Chris Howell did an excellent job as his role as Pony, even though he had some flaws when trying to recreate the Pony from the book. In the movie, Pony had no empathy or tone in his voice when talking, and he was a lot meaner compared to the book. In the book, Pony was and acted smarter in dangerous situations, like at the church. In my opinion, I think that even with some flaws, Chris did a good job et portraying the character.

Two-Bit: Two-Bit is not as much like he is in the novel. Emilio Estevez shouldn't have played him because he looks 20 in the movie, when he’s only 18. Aside from the obvious physical differences, there are some pretty big personality
