Sometimes take risks is worth it. Is the case of many young people who finish their studies and try to follow a dream and making their own business.

In Spain there are almost eight thousand young unemployed which implies that many recent graduates with great potential find almost impossible get a job that matches with their studies. These data lead to a search for alternatives as aside convention and go for your dreams. This is the route that 36% of the Spanish population under 30 has already taken.

Without more experience than the once they learn at University, some young people start a project that may be the start of a successful career… or may not. According to Jaime, a 23 years old entrepreneur, that is the main point to have in mind.

“But on the other side, the biggest obstacle is the lack of experience” Nacho added.

Jaime, Cosme and Nacho are the three 23 years old founders of Pompeii, a shoes brand launched last year with the main aim of make their dream come true by making a brand of handmade limited shoes at affordable prices for young people like them. Thanks to their enthusiasm and effort, the brand has been growing. And with it, the orders, fame and expectations.

Among its many facilities we can emphasize the ease of tracking the opinions and tastes of consumers, the wide variety of communication channels that they can choose to sell their products, fast customer response and the efficiency of costumer service.

“It is a hard road, I do not deny it. It involves three times more work and effort than to work for others. You don´t have schedules and sometimes the salary is less than the expected. But you have the great advantage of wake up every day to do what you like the most, and that is beyond the rest of amenities you may have in an office” Cosme seems pretty convince saying this while Jaime and Nacho totally agreed at the back. “We are clear about where we want to go and how we want to do it. We know that needs a lot of work but it has a great reward” he continued.
