For my advertisement project, I chose the character Polyphêmos, the Kyklops from The Odyssey. Polyphêmos is the perfect character to allude to for my Wine product. In book nine of The Odyssey, Odysseus tricks Polyphêmos with wine as a faux offering and a faux name. Polyphêmos loved the wine so much that he drank it until he became drunk, fell asleep, and then fell into Odysseus’ real plan of attack. My wine product is so good that even a Kyklops would love it. This is why Polyphêmos is the perfect character to allude to for my product advertisement project.
