Dear, PolyMet Company Why have the mine near the boundary waters? I strongly believe that the PolyMet mines are unsafe.The mine will create an unsafe environment to humans and nature, causing pollution and water problems. If we placed the mine near the boundary waters it will lessen the amount of tourists each year.
The mine would be located near the BWCA (Boundary Water Canoe Area) which is near Lake Superior. Causing a bigger risk to spill into lake superior which is some of the most persist and clean water here is America. The DNR would need to further be inspect where the mine would be placed due to big areas of plants and forest that are nearby. Too many areas that contain wetland, farms, forests, and lakes that you could effect.
