Polybia Paulista is a social wasp originated from Brazil. This social wasp contains Polybia-MP1 which was purified from its own venom. It has an antimicrobial activity against bacteria (gram-negative and gram-positive), but causing no harm on normal cells of the body. But it is still under many observations and tests on how it will fight damaged cells that causes diseases specifically cancer. It is shown to selectively inhibit the circulation of prostate and bladder cancer cells, but it has lower cytotoxicity to rat erythrocytes or normal murine fibroblasts. In some laboratory tests, the venom has been shown to control the growth of the prostate and bladder cancer cells as well as leukaemia cells. Scientists found out that Polybia-MP1
