Polly 531 Week 2 Reaction Paper

Decent Essays
I spoke with Polly this morning. Last month in all of the confusion of the credit card payment, we paid the full amount of $290.00 for the March services, instead of the $193.34.
In reviewing the new invoice 5194004 the adjustment was made for the rate however, there was no credit for the overpayment.

We will be short paying the invoice for the correct amount of $96.68.

Scott and Mia, I am not sure which one of your can help me, but in reconciling our account I have discovered a few issues and have some questions. The swiped amount on the reports provided for the GL reconciliation do not always match the swiped amount. I understand that a vendor can undercharge a charge and swipe a card multiple times, but I did not think they could process cards for more than the total payment amount. For example, in tying out our invoice for 2/28-3/6/2018 I found that the swiped amount ties to our invoice/what was paid out via our account, but the swiped amount is for a different amount than what was issued. In six of the seven instances where the swiped amount was different than the issued amount, the swiped amount…

In 1996, the manufacture vice president Lucas Moore recommended that the company should purchase the Effective Management Systems, Inc. (EMS) the Time Critical Manufacturing package will operate on several of their systems. The initial startup cost of $220,000 up front and yearly maintenance contracts is available for $55,000 per year. Effective Management Systems, Inc. will provide a limited amount of personalized modifications to the software, and the company will pay $60 an hour for labor. Mr. Lucas pointed out that even though the company MIS department was designing their own system, it would take two years to acquire the system at a cost of $400,00 not taking into account that the parts and other components are not included in the price presented to them (Brown, DeHayes, Hoffer, Martin, & Perkins, 2012). Moore does not have a lot of experience in the manufacturing and was not employed at the company when they tried software implementation earlier, which did not meet the expectation the company expected company.…

Lindsay Roach Response Journals 5.3 Response 1: The Family of Little feet seemed insignificant at first because Esperanza talked about “Plump little feet”. At first this made no sense to the reader because she was talking about shoes and plump feet. But as this vignette goes on it was important to the characters because it was one of Lucy’s defining moments on her trip through life and an experience with a guy. Although the girls “Were glad the shoes were gone”, it was important for them to experience a lesson of how the real world really is in their neck of the woods.…

How does a work requirement improve access to treatment? How can an individual that’s suffering from addiction access treatment to fulfill their work requirement if they’re not allowed to get Medicaid and can’t have that to cover such a treatment? Can you explain how we would address this circular situation where someone doesn’t have coverage, so they can’t get treatment, but they can’t fulfill the work requirement because they need to be in treatment to do that? • Brandt: As part of our issuance last week, states are required to take steps to ensure access to appropriate treatments and services.
