DACA Recipients
On June 15th, 2012 the Secretary of Homeland Security announced the DACA program that stands for, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. This program was formed to protect and aid the people who came in as children, giving them an opportunity to study, live, and work legally in the US. Certain key guidelines had to be followed by these childhood arivies in order to qualify and benefit from this program. Over the course of five years, nearly 800,000 people have been protected with DACA, and with it’s help many changes occurred in these people’s lives.
DACA has helped its participants make more in earnings and has made it possible for them to find employment.…
