The disruption against manners and simple care toward others is because several Americans feel anger, fear, and disappointment as the country continues to elevate into something distinctive than what they are used to. For example, technology is an epidemic that moves cultural change much faster, and it is replacing many common traditions Americans are used to. People always talk about their generation and how great it was, but they loathe the disappearance of the “good old day”. For instance, Huffington Post points out that in the 1930s and 1940s, only 5 percent of Americans were religiously unaffiliated and now it has increased to 20 percent of Americans. In addition, the total population of whites is 62 percent today. Some people predict that by 2043 whites will be a minority. Essentially, this is what most Americans fear, and this is also what brought up a candidate like Donald J. Trump. Mr. Trump, who is a business/billionaire man in Manhattan, has currently represented political incorrectness and most of his statements does affiliate with being politically incorrect. For example, his slogan says, “Make American Great Again”. He’s a great example as to why the United States needs political correctness. Trump is using political incorrectness to make the United States weaker and has even tampered into most American fears. He wants people to behave immature while he acts like the encyclopedia of the world. He talks about how immigrants are stealing jobs, criminals, drug traffickers, and rapist. Consequently, people deny professional reports and instead they believe Mr. Trump. Experts have said that the issue is not illegal immigration, but that it is factories that are moving over seas, weakened labor unions and economic decline. As people are focusing on a huge wall, the real issues are not being solved. Essentially, if he continues to insult Mexicans, Muslims, Asians, and even African Americans, then the United States can possibly face the next Civil War or a complete division. He has angered many countries, and he has been banned from going into Mexico and the United Kingdom. He is essentially disturbing the

In an interview, Donald John Trump, an American businessperson and a Republican candidate running for president, specified: “ The immigrants are bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, and they’re rapists. It’s coming from Mexico. It’s coming from the south and Latin America and it’s coming, probably, from the Middle East, but we don’t know because we have no protection.” As a result of the immigrants coming into America, Trump wants to create the immigration plan. If Trump’s plan is carried out, the Mexicans would be unauthorized to enter America because of the “great great wall,” possible recessions and riots would take place, and all illegal immigrants including the birthright citizens will be forced to leave America.…

Trump believes that illegal immigration is destroying U.S. taxpayers, and he believes that neither Republicans nor Democrats are helping the situation. Republicans don’t do anything about illegal immigration because some of their business supporters want cheap labor. Democrats look at illegal immigrants as potential Democratic voters (135-136). Both Democrats and Republicans may have their reasons for illegal immigrants to stay, but Donald Trump thinks that the parties need to put America’s interests first and that illegal immigrants need to return from whence they came. Trump then continues to discuss that illegal immigrants are by definition, lawbreakers, and refers to them as “illegal aliens” due to the fact that illegal immigrants are often members or violent gangs.…

For years now, people have tried to be more “politically correct” in everything they say or do. “Political correctness,” I have observed does not only pose problems for those in the majority but for the minorities as well. While on the surface this seems to be just a way of being considerate and kind to fellow human beings, I believe it is actually hurting society as a whole. When majority members cannot speak candidly, members of under-represented groups also suffer. What it results in is that no one, even the minorities it tries to protect, can discuss their concerns about fairness and fears without falling into the negative stereotypes.…

Political-correctness, described by Bill Lind on “The Origins of Political Correctness,” as a form of cultural Marxism due to the totalitarian ideology parallels, has currently shaped the way Americans process issues. Sadly, the problem is that many Americans simply can't recognize deficiencies anymore living with this belief . Political-correctness is a way to avoid offending, or hurting another person's feelings by for example, removing certain art, music, sexism, racism, etc.. Throughout the nineties and to this day, offending someone because something may possibly exhibit their “social disadvantages” or how they are “discriminated” has been considered unfathomable. This has gone to the extent of changing social norms, such as the word criminal.…

Sensitive America The Article, “Green Guilt” proposed that the guilt formerly derived from religious belief is being replaced by social movements such as environmentalism. The author, Steven Asma, relates the almost obsessive green habits to the high moral standards set by various religions, namely Christianity. He goes even further to proclaim that environmentalism is a substitute for religion. You can argue that there are some similarities between the two, but it is misleading to compare the guilt of straying from religious values to the guilt of neglecting the environment.…

Could our language become completely controlled by the government? In 1984, George Orwell wrote about a world in the future where speech was greatly restricted; he called this language “Newspeak”, and it is very similar to the political correctness that is noticeable in America today. It was a language that was created by the totalitarian state, and it was used to limit free thought and any concepts in which the government felt threatened. Political Correctness is the avoidance of the sensitivities of others that disables one from speaking openly, limits the flow of ideas, and it diminishes personal rights.…
