Same-sex marriage is a very large political argument that can be argued in many different ways with different viewpoints. This spectrum has created a huge conflict between friends, family members, and society as a whole. Families have broken apart, relationships between close friends have died down , people have been criticized, and the government has been attacked because of the issue of same-sex marriage. People usually tend to forget about how this issue is affecting people 's friendships, and that is why it is so important. Even though people are friends, that doesn 't mean they have the same perspective on everything, for example two close friends could look at the issue of same-sex marriage in two completely different ways which could end in an heated argument which could break up a friendship in an instant. broken friendships could lead to stress, and stress can lead to many negative things. Millions of LGBT people contribute daily to American life in a multitude of ways culturally, socially, financially, politically, vocationally, and spiritually. Same-sex marriage has increased our look on equality and nondiscrimination. Equality is a huge factor of our society which everyone should be treated with. Many people also believe that same-sex marriage also promotes family stability. According to Huffpost, it helps foster the wellbeing of children by providing married couples with various rights, benefits and protections which can strengthen relationship bonds and family units. I do see where they 're coming from and i see how it can help the children as well.
