Another example of a protection that the police officers have with them at a daily basis would have to be the firearm that they carry with them wherever they go , no matter where they are at. One side being that the victim was already surrendering and yet, the police officer yet still continues to use force and possibly shoot him to death, because he felt "threatened" by his surrender.
