Police officers over use their position and power. Enforcing authority is a necessity in today’s society. Nonetheless, there is a need for keeping the enforcers of authority accountable for their actions. The use of force sometimes might be necessary out people abuse that power. Police officers over use their position and power against the people who they are supposed to be protecting. Their intentions on trying to keep the situation safe for themselves and the situation that they are in are only for their safety but they don’t think of the right and safer way of handling the situation. They act before they think and they leave the families of the victims scared, sad, and more importantly unsafe but they people that are suppose to be protecting them. And by the press releasing the stories and being read and seen by other people around the world only makes the people upset and go against the police officers. Which occurs more brutal stories on people seeing that police overuse their power and just because their police officers they don't get that much justice done to them because their on the side of the law. Everyone says you can't fight against the law because 99% of the time the law will win no matter what. One can say just because their on the side of the law that the power goes to their head and think just because with the law that there aren’t doing anything wrong.
