Cause And Effect Essay On Police Shootings

All around the world, there are controversies over police shootings and dirty police officers. Many people say that officers should wear cameras on their uniforms to prevent any other riots, such as the Michael Brown riots in Ferguson, St. Louis. Whenever there is a shooting and there are no bystanders to see what actually happened, there should be some sort of recording device with the officer to see what he is doing. When Police Officers sign up to join the force, they should be prepared for anything while they are in uniform. To keep people from causing a riot, because they say that the person was shot did not deserve it. When in all actuality he attacked the officer and it was necessary to retaliate towards the criminal. It is extremely important for officers to wear cameras while in uniform. People are blaming Police everywhere for the shootings that involve police officers. When the police officers record the crime scene they can get all angles in what take. They can get a lot of information from the video. If the people are taking pictures of the crime there is angles where they can miss something crucial to the investigation. They only get so much with the pictures. With the video you can go slowly and just cover all parts of the room and any other surrounding areas that are apart of the crime scene. The investigators can go over the recording with precision and just pause the video if they see something of interest. With the pictures you can get a lot of closer with the zoom capability. With the videos they will be able to watch the forensics team to see if they will miss anything or try to hide anything in any way possible.
