Introduction
Police violence and shootings are not new topics or just a new emerging trend. The issue has been around for a long time, but it seems that the issue has become a frequent and typical news story. It seems as if Nancy Grace, CNN, Fox, and other major news sources find a new act of police violence to make feature story for their audiences. This is leading to police officers being viewed as “villains” instead of the “good guys”. This police violence epidemic is not just a problem in the U.S. but instead a problem in countries worldwide. It neither is just a problem of just one race.

The reason this topic is such a hot topic is because people see necessary and proper uses of force, and then people see the improper or unnecessary uses of force. Use of Force issues don’t only occur in the United States but instead are saw as a problem in countries all over the world, especially in democratic countries like the UK and Australia. Attempting to explain or justify most of these cases are complicated to try to separate and define police brutality, use of excessive force, and police abusing using use of force. Another aspect that has to be examined is if the act is a state crime of an act of police deviance. The difference deviance and a state crime is that deviance is stated to be, “When the police organization supports and promotes abuse of deadly force,” says Belur. Whereas, Belur sees the state crime aspect of lethal force as containing cover-ups, corruption, disinformation, lack of accountability, and violations of laws. The actions are carried out by the state or by any state agency on its behalf to protect its image. These cases seem to reach new levels of complexity because the subject become overblown by the
