Introduction
This article discusses the efficiency of law enforcement officers and their ability to evaluate their work performance. Authors would like to know if an officer’s job performance could be determined by data collected on the amount of time spent doing their jobs. One weakness of this study is that having officers complete their own evaluation can lead to deception from them. Also, an evaluation based on time-spent doing a task doesn’t necessarily mean that an officer is doing their job correctly. Police are self-reporting can make it difficult to notice work mistakes.

This is important because emphasizes not only racial leadership expectations within the workplace but a large amount of workplace discrimination. The author is interested in examining why white leaders are preferred over other racial minorities. This is relevant to my research topic because its research can generalize to workplace discrimination in all institutions including law enforcement. Authors expect that participants will be less likely to take into consideration the base rate information when figuring out the race of the person in the business leader category than in determining the race of someone in the worker
