I do not think there’s been enough done in the law enforcement to developing the proper demeanor of law enforcement officer. But, I think police departments are stepping up with more trainings and policy reviewing. The police officer is going to have to be on the same page wanting to be dedicated to having or good demeanor. Yes, I found research that suggests that demeanor training is a need for law enforcement training. Being a police chief of a local law enforcement organization with opportunity to establish guidelines on developing demeanor of law enforcement officers by getting the law enforcement officers on a yearly training making it a core part of the police department team.
