Solutions To Police Brutality

Police brutality is an epidemic in this country that has run rampant to a point where something needs to be done. It is unnecessarily cutting the lives and rights of our fellow citizens short every day, and puts an extensive amount of people at risk everywhere in the U.S. police brutality is a problem that is led and maintained by power hungry members of the police force. It is used as an excuse to completely desecrate and break down an innocent or guilty person’s body and will. It is normally viewed as a cop going to unyielding lengths to arrest or contain someone. In most cases, this point of view would be more than correct. The costs of this problem have been people’s lives and well-beings. Many lives, even innocent, have been lost due to the consistent exertion of authority and force held by the police. It is not an issue that should be taken lightly. So many people’s lives have been turned upside down due to the effects of police brutality. It has happened to citizens under suspicion, and even ones that have nothing to do with the situation at all. On the police 's side, it is already their responsibility to take control of their actions and realize the wrongdoings they are taking part in. It is already the police’s job to uphold and enforce the law. Contrary to this, police brutality is a total abuse of power and breaks the law in the process. On the citizen’s side, it is our responsibility to follow the law and not give any reason to lead up to the violence. But, as people, we should all have respect for our fellow man and woman.
