Police brutality has been in the fore front of the news these days. Michael Brown, Eric Gardner, Walter Scott and Freddie Gray are just a few examples of the police going too far by taking the life of unarmed men who didn’t deserve to die. These events caused a lot of uproar. For example, in Ferguson and Baltimore, the citizens rioted and caused a lot of damage and a lot of vandalism took place. The police are supposed to protect us and defend the law. They are not supposed to kill or hurt unarmed citizens. Law enforcement has a lot of power, they have the power to take someone’s freedom or life if necessary. This power should not be abused. This is not just a problem now, it has been a problem for a long time, plus it happens a lot more
