Police brutality is being exposed to the community in the wrong way. Sometimes the phrase “ POlice brutality” is turned in the complete opposite direction. Police do get brutalized by the community. In 2017 a Police officer was ambushed and killed. Also on July 4th Robert Johnson (A deputy)was intentionally struck by a car and killed in new york. Since December 31, 2018 10 officers have been shot and three have been killed. All of these officers deaths were in a span of only three weeks. These statistics show that also the blue community is struggling too. Many people say that police brutality against others happens way too often. This statement might be true but you have to put in the condition these officers are under when they are making these decisions. Including, the officers level of exhaustion, where the officer is positioned whether it is on the ground behind a barrier. These split second decisions that Police officers have to make is really difficult and puts tremendous stress on them. This is why police brutality is looked over by many. Including this, one day my dad was on a routine call arresting someone violating city laws. When him and his partner were putting the suspect in the cop car he started yelling “police brutality!!” for no reason. This truly exemplifies how police brutality is miss used by many people in today's
