Should Police Officers Wear Body Cameras?
I think police should wear body cameras, because they will have real evidence of encounterments with the criminals. The only problem with this is that people may think you are invading their privacy. Many police departments wear body cameras, but many don’t. It is believed that body cameras will improve behavior in the criminals.
Under the assumption that police performance, conduct, accountability, and legitimacy, in the eyes of the public, are enhanced as a result of using these devices that are being born worldwide. A suspect's demeanor during a public police engagement is hypothesized to change as a result of the video the body camera captures. Both
