We have known for many years that the police department is to serve and protect the people in the community. It is imperative for us to know who really is accountable for the police department’s actions. Police administrators will be required to improve greater accountability in all countries, and all factors to be considered with extreme efforts. Government activities were fundamentally monitored with accountability, and procedures are designed chiefly to guarantee legality and financial integrity appropriate. The accountability of upholding the financial goal of the department and submitting a yearly budget to the city or county government is also the responsibility of a law enforcement administrator. They must have the capability to appropriately evaluate a potential employee and make the accurate hire. They must see thoroughly that the people that are hired on the police force are properly trained, so that they are skillful in carrying out their duties. There are other executive responsibilities that law enforcement administrators are involved in managing, that is the investigation of criminal activity by dispensing the required resources to the innumerable active cases. Administrators are accountable for the extensiveness and accuracy of records filed in their department, being superior of any evidence composed and transported to the department for suitable handling, and also being organized and ready to make appearances the public in both private meetings and news conference when reporting on the work of the police force, by responding to all city and county officials.
