Last year the Crestview FCCLA chapter envisioned a new project. It was a project that seemed appropriate for an organization called Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America; however, I wasn’t thrilled. Mrs. Sawmiller, the FCCLA advisor, devised a plan that acted as a fundraiser, as well as a service opportunity, called Polar Express Night, a one-night babysitting service inspired by the movie, The Polar Express. It was to be a magical evening full of crafts, snacks, pajamas, and Christmas spirit; which I was excited for. My excitement soon subsided; however, upon realizing I was about to spend my Saturday night dealing with sticky, snotty, crying six-year-olds.
